Baby Jeff

We felt pretty lucky that my Mom, Marilyn and Jeff's Grammie, was able to stay with us for a few days after we brought Jeff home. We sure took advantage of that! Grammie was on the ball, she took Marilyn to the park, they planted flowers, we went to the wild animal exhibit, she cooked every day, I don't remember ever getting a meal for anyone or really moving at all. I am grateful that she came and was able to help! Our house felt full, after feeling like we were missing someone for the last few months of the pregnancy it felt great to have everyone here.

Here are some of my favorite pictures of our first few days home...

Every morning Marilyn RUNS out of her room and looks for her baby, she then attacks him with kisses and hugs.  We have had a talk about every 10 minutes about being soft with our new baby, his body is small and we need to be very gentle with his body.

Seriously, how cute is this little face? I love him...

Another attack of love, (don't worry we spoke about being gentle with his teeny tiny body)

Basically, we love our new little guys.  I was worried that Marilyn would be mad or jealous or sad or feel left out or less important when Jeff came, but instead she feels important because she is a big sister and a big helper now! She is so great with him, a little rough (we are working on that), but we are so grateful that we are transitioning so well! Go Jeff, perfect entrance!
