As most of you know, I am a die hard Biggest Loser fan. I have watched every season faithfully, and laughed and cried along with all the contestants. Now, as most of you also know, my darling husband Thomas, hates the biggest loser. He says he has a personal problem with watching morbidly obese people work out. And while I understand his point, I on the other hand, get wrapped up in their emotional journey to find them selves and change their lives. Since the finale was last night (where Michael, the biggest man ever to be on the show was victorious in the fight for his life, and also for the grand prize of $250,000), we decided it was a perfect night for a party. And also since the finale is the only show Thomas will watch with me, I felt we should defiantly get into it. So we invited Kristin and Greg over, and all dressed up like a finalist. We also ate brownies, which seems like a strange thing to do during a show like biggest loser...but we do what we can, and we had a great time doing it!

Day At The Beach
We went out to Sand Hollow on Saturday with or friends J&J (as we so lovingly call them). It was our first time going with Marilyn, we thought it would be fun for her to crawl in the sand and splash in the water. We planned it a week in advance, the boys would go fishing and Janelle and I would play on the "beach" with the babies. It sounds perfect doesn't it? Well the day finally came, and we packed up the car and the babies and the fishing equipment and headed to the lake. Too bad it was not super hot and it was one of the windiest days in a while...haha but the babies had fun, and Jake and Tom caught a few fish! So, despite the set backs, it was a fun day at Sand Hollow and it made me excited for when it gets really hot and everyday will be a perfect day for fun in the sun.
Here is Tom, can't see him? He is that red speck in the middle of the rocks? See him?
Janelle and Ayden coming to relax in the shade
Marilyn was kicking her legs so outrageously when we were trying to take this picture...
Look at those darling babies...

Our Friend, Jazzy
Well, we met a new friend this week. We took the liberty of naming her Jazzy, and assuming it was a girl. This horny toad gave us hours of fun. Our friend Jake called Thomas with the big news, he had not only found a horny toad, but managed to catch it for Thomas! We rushed over to their house to see the glorious beast, and there she sat, our new friend, Jazzy. We took her home in a jar with leaves and rocks, but she did not last long inside, we had to get her out and play with her. (don't worry, i checked online to make sure they are not poisonous, and they are harmless) We took her outside and Marilyn took a turn playing with her, we had to keep a close eye on them because when we first let her look at the horny toad, she tried to squeeze it in her hand. But by the end of our encounter, Marilyn was just trying to give Jazzy rocks. We were going to keep Jazzy, but we learned from our experience with our tarantula, Bob, that we can't keep them alive very long in captivity. So we took it to an abandoned field (across the street from our house for those of you who want to to try and find her) and set her free. Here are pictures of our encounter with little Jazzy.

Slide, Baby Slide
For family night this week, we decided to go to the park. Mostly because I couldn't be in the house with Maggie (our adorable, yet rediculously energetic puppy) for another minute, she was driving me crazy. So we packed up our stroller and walked the block and a half to the park. When we turned the corner and Maggie saw the park, she sprinted straight for the grass. This is hilarious if you know our house, we have no grass...just gorgeous "desert landscaping", nice for us, not so much for our dog. So the two of us are sitting on the blanket watching Maggie run like wild and Marilyn crawling all over the place. We decided to let Marilyn crawl where ever she wanted. (We were the only ones there) So she crawled and crawled and crawled all the way from the soccer field to the playground and stopped, sat up and turned around and started hysterically crying. I got up immediatly and started running toward her, fearing that she had lost her sence of place and gotten scared cause she couldn't find me. ButI came to realize that I had nothing to do with this sudden outburst and this is what had really happened, she found the slide. Here are the pictures of our adorable baby!

Finally, A Blog
Here it is people, our blog! I have hesitated starting a blog because I felt like I have nothing to write, and who would spend their time reading my blog? Who wants to hear what I have to say? But I have come to the realization that it doesn't matter who listens, or in this case reads, but I should write and keep a record of our life. So here it goes! Here's to blogging!
